What was I thinking?

Shopping with a 20 month old boy is a complete lapse in my sanity. I guess since school is out for summer and I am in full vacation mode, I thought it would be a nice outing for me and the boy to take a trip to the mall. MISTAKE!!! He was wild! Climbing out of the stroller, grabbing clothes off racks, crying, throwing things from the stroller at passing strangers, and the list can go on and on! Granted, he was tired and needed a nap, but I thought the sights and sounds of the mall would entertain him. I was wrong! The only high point of our afternoon was the ride on the carousel and the lollipop we purchased from the candy store.

I'm the mom of a wild little boy who was born in October 2012. He is overly active, climbs, falls, and keeps me on the verge of a heart attack on a daily basis. Besides keeping up with him, I'm also a middle school science teacher and with that I work as the archery coach and the science club sponsor...my husband and I have been married since 2003 and although it was a drastic change to add a child in the mix after being married without kids for seven years we wouldn't trade it for the world!
